Whereas, the Great Commission (Matt. 28:16-19) clearly requires that the gospel be carried into all the world by the humble followers of Jesus; and

Whereas, latter day revelation identifies that "the field is white already to harvest" (Doc. & Cov. 4:1 c; 6:2a; 10:2a; 11:2a; 12:2a; 32:1d, 2c); and

Whereas, Europe is the ancestral home a many of saints who feel a tie to these peoples and countries; and

Whereas, European Ministries has ambitiously carried the gospel into the European theater for many years as finances and missionaries have been available; and

Whereas, much good has been accomplished by the diligence and devotion of this   organization; therefore be it

Resolved that this Conference recognizes European Ministries as the instrument of evangelism in Europe; and be it further

Resolved that European Ministries shall have representation and voice in all Evangelism Committee meetings (voting is limited to Evangelism Committee members); and be it further

Resolved that European Ministries shall approve all Evangelism Committee nominations to the European mission prior to assignments being made;  and be it further

Resolved that European Ministries shall be directed by the Restoration Seventy in all of these activities until such time as revelation and the ordering of the church render European Ministries unnecessary.
